The control instructions include all privileged
instructions, except the input/ output instructions,
which are described in Chapter 12, "Input/Output
Operations. "
Privileged instructions may be executed only
when the CPU is in the supervisor state. An
attempt to execute a privileged instruction in the
problem state generates a privileged-operation
exception.
