CAUTION
1
• When removing pinion bearing, use careto avoid dam­
aging gearcase.
• Do not reuse pinion bearing once removed. Always
use a new pinion bearing.

NOTE:
lnspect Pinion Bearing before removal, replace if necessary.
Removal
1. Assemble the shown components from Universal Piníon
Bearing Remover and lnstaller kit P/N 391257.
2. Place wood block under pinion bearing.
3. Using rawhide mallet, drive pinion bearing into gearcase.
