POWER UNIT
CYLINDER / CRANKSHAFT / PISTON
CONRO0CAP
1. Apply engine oil to crank pin and conrod bearing.
2. lnstall conrod cap (with bearing) to conrod with dot ( • )
mark on cap toward flywheel side.
I.ACAUTION
1
Reassemble each conrod cap to its original position. .
3. Apply engine oil lightly to conrod bolts.
4. Tighten conrod cap nuts in two steps.
~ Conrod cap nut:
1 st step 18 N-m (1.8 kg-m; 13.0 lb-ft)
Final step 35 N,m (3.5 kg-m; 25.5 lb-ft)
CRANKCASETOCVLIN0ER
1. Clean mating surface of cylinder and crankcase.
2. Apply Three Bond to mating surface of crankcase as
shown in figure.
~ Three Bond No.1104
].ACAUTION
1
Apply bond to mating surface only. Do not allow bond to
contact surface of bearing.
3. lnstall five (5) dowel pins
