UKEX approval
According to EN IEC 60079-7 (Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres - Part
7: Increased safety "e"), EN IEC 60079-0 (Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive gas
atmospheres - Part 0: General Requirements) and EN 60079-31 (Electrical apparatus for
potentially explosive atmospheres – Part 31: dust ignition protection by enclosure "t").

Special conditions in hazardous areas:
Install the device so that there is a minimal risk of mechanical danger.
To prevent electrostatic charging, wipe the housing surface only with a wet cloth.
Use the device only in an environment that is protected from UV light.
The following additional conditions apply when using the devices in an area that requires EPL
Gc:
• Only use the device in an area with a degree of pollution 2 according to EN 60664-1.
• Provisions must be taken to prevent the rated voltage from being exceeded by transient
disturbance voltages of more than 119 V.
