Bus Architecture Optimized

ProLiant 5000 Servers feature Dual Peer PCI Buses that provide
high-bandwidth I/O with two buses operating simultaneously. Aggregate
bandwidth is 267 megabytes per second.
Each PCI bus is assigned specific functions.
Primary PCI Bus
Supports dedicated PCI slots 5-8
Supports the EISA bridge bus which in turn
Secondary PCI Bus
