• Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in ascending
order of numbers to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Cylinder head cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0
lb-ft)
NOTE
The ascending order of numbers are
indicated on the cylinder head cover.

Spark Plug
Install the spark plugs. Refer to "Spark Plug Removal
and Installation in Section 1H (Page 1H-6)".
Thermostat
• Apply engine coolant to the O-ring.
• Connect the water hoses. Refer to "Water Hose

Intake Pipe
• Apply grease to the O-ring.

Engine Mechanical:
CAUTION
!
Use a new O-ring to prevent engine coolant
leakage.
Routing Diagram in Section 1F (Page 1F-3)".
CAUTION

Use a new O-ring to prevent mixture air from
soaking through the joint.
(A): Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
NOTE
Face the "UP" mark on the intake pipe to
upper.
