b) Remove the server cover panel by carefully pulling on the edge where the screws were removed.

14. Uninstall the fan bay.
Note: The Fan Bays must be uninstalled to gain access to the DIMMs located closest to the front
of the enclosure. The DIMMs located closest to the rear of the enclosure may be replaced without
removing the Fan Bays as indicated by the red boxes in the following image.
