Delete the fault code and check
that the engine trouble warning
light goes off.
P0107, P0108
[P0107] Intake air pressure sensor: ground short circuit detected.
[P0108] Intake air pressure sensor: open or power short circuit
detected.
Execute the diagnostic mode.

When engine is stopped:
Atmospheric pressure at the
current altitude and weather
conditions is indicated.
At sea level: Approx. 101 kPa
(757.6 mmHg, 29.8 inHg),
approx. 3.64 V
1000 m (3300 ft) above sea
level: Approx. 90 kPa (675.1
mmHg, 26.6 inHg), approx. 3.30
V
2000 m (6700 ft) above sea
level: Approx. 80 kPa (600.0
mmHg, 23.6 inHg), approx. 3.00
V
3000 m (9800 ft) above sea
level: Approx. 70 kPa (525.0
mmHg, 20.7 inHg), approx. 2.70
V
When engine is cranking: Make
sure that the indication value
changes.
The value does not change
when engine is cranking 
Check the intake air pressure
sensor.
Replace if defective.
Refer to "REPLACING THE
ECU (Engine Control Unit)" on
page 8-230.
Replace the ECU.
Refer to "REPLACING THE
ECU (Engine Control Unit)" on
page 8-230.
Confirm that the fault code has
a condition of "Recovered"
using the Yamaha diagnostic
tool, and then delete the fault
code.

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Crank the engine, and then
check the condition of the fault
code using the malfunction
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is "Recovered"  Go
to item 7 and finish the service.
Condition is "Detected"  Go to
item 6.
Service is finished.
