PREFACE
General
The NDC-5027M is a magnetic disk drive control board which is able to con-
trol. one or two magnetic disk drives having an interface conforming with
the Seagate ST506. Its host-side interface is compatible with the IBM
personal computer.
Although the NDC-5027M basically uses the same hardware as the NDC-5027M,
its ROM socket firmware and BIOS program include a number of special features
such as alternative functions and other additional items.

Correlation Table for Connected Magnetic Disk Drives
Under the fixed disk BIOS program, eight types of magnetic disk drives can
be selected for each of the two disk drives (drive O and drive 1) by setting
the DIP switch. The table below shows the correlation of DIP switch values
and drive type settings.
