Interface Configuration.
Specifies a RIP version to receive on an interface basis. Use the no form of
this command to restore the default setting of RIP Version 1.

Name Definition
[1] [2] The version of the RIP packets received on an interface.
• 1 - accept RIP Version 1 packets.
• 2 - accept RIP Version 2 packets.
The following example specifies that the interface labeled "boston" receive
RIP version 2 packets.
(config-if:boston)# ip rip receive version 2
P550R, P580, P880, and P882.
