Interface Configuration.
Sets the authentication password used on the interface. The no form of this
command clears the password.
To Configure:
ip rip authentication key <password>
To Clear:
no ip rip authentication key

The authentication password for the interface. You can use up to
16 characters.
The following example sets the authentication string used on interface
labeled "boston" as abc.
(config-if:boston)# ip rip authentication key abc
P550R, P580, P880, and P882.
