Transmission Removal (cont'd)
15. Remove the transmission mount bracket IAI and
transmission mounting bolt IBI.
16. Remove the air cleaner bracket ICI.
17. Raise the vehicle, and make sure
it
is securely
supported.
18. Drain the transmission fluid. Reinstall the drain bolt
with a new washer Isee page 13-31.
19. Remove the splash shield.

20. Remove the three way catalytic converter ITWCI
assembly Isee step 30 on page 5-51.
21. Remove the driveshafts Isee page 16-31.
22. Remove the intermediate shaft Isee page 16-191.
23. Remove the front engine mount bracket mounting
bolt.
24. Remove the three bolts securing the transmission
rear mount.
