Cylinder Head Cover Installation (cont'd)
5. Set the spark plug seals (A) on the spark plug tubes.
Once the cylinder head
cover
(8) is on the cylinder
head, slide the
cover
slightly back and larth to seat
the head
cover
gasket.
6. Inspect the
cover
washers Ie). Replace any washer
that is damaged or deteriorated.

7. Tighten the bolts in two or three steps. In the linal
step, tighten all bolts, in sequence, to 9.8 N·m 11.0
kgl·m, 7.2 Ibl·ft).
