Release the harness from the clamps (C).

Note: When removing the ADF diverter gate solenoid, the spring and plunger will become detached.
5.
Remove the ADF diverter gate solenoid.
Reinstallation note: When replacing the ADF diverter gate solenoid, ensure that the pin on the plunger is
properly reattached.
ADF document tray removal
Open the ADF top door.
