Remove the seven screws (E) securing the scanner controller PCBA to the machine.

Remove the scanner controller PCBA from the machine.

Remove the scanner left cover. See
Remove the ADF angle actuator. See

Note: The hooks for the sensor can be accessed more easily by removing the large platen glass.
4.
Release the hooks (A) securing the sensor (ADF angle) to the machine.
5.
Remove the sensor (ADF angle).
