Remove the screw (A).

Disconnect the cable (B).
4.
Release the harness (C) from the clamps.
5.
Note: When removing the ADF nip release solenoid, the spring and plunger will become detached.
Remove the ADF nip release solenoid.
6.
Reinstallation note: When replacing the ADF nip release solenoid, ensure that the pin on the plunger is
properly reattached.
