FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM (FM/FE models)
PINION GEAR REMOVAL
Remove the three bolts and front final clutch assem-
bly from the differential.
Remove the O-ring from the final clutch assembly.
Drive the pinion gear from the final clutch case by
tapping its shaft from the outer ring side.
FINAL CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
OUTER RING FINAL CLUTCH CASE
SHAFT
PINION GEAR
Heat the final clutch case to about 100°C (212°F).
Remove the pinion gear bearing from the final
clutch case using the special tools.

FRONT FINAL GEAR CASE BEARING
REPLACEMENT
DIFFERENTIAL BEARING
Remove the oil seals from the final gear case and
cover.
Drive the differential bearings out of the case and
cover.
