CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Coat the clutch discs with clean engine oil.
Install the discs and Assemble the following and install them onto the
plate alternately, mainshaft:
starting with the - pressure plate
disc. - seven discs
Set the outside - six plates
clutch disc tabs into - clutch center
the shallow slots in
the clutch outer.
PLATES
Apply engine oil to the threads of a new lock nut
and install the washer and lock nut.
Hold the pressure plate bosses with the special tool
and tighten the lock nut.

Clutch center holder
U.S.A. TOOLS:
Holder plate
Holder collar A
07JMB-MN50301
07HGB-001010B or
07HGB-001010A
with
07HGB-001020B or
07HGB-001020A
TORQUE: 108 N-m (11.0 kgf-m, 80 Ibfft)
Be careful not to Stake the lock nut into the mainshaft groove.
damage the
mainshaft threads.
