ELECTRIC STARTER
Align the index lines on the front cover and motor
case.
Install the setting plates and new O-rings onto the
motor case bolts.
Install the motor case bolts and tighten them.

INSTALLATION
Coat a new O-ring with engine oil and install it into
the starter motor groove.
Install the starter motor into the rear crankcase
cover and onto the crankcase.
Install the mounting bolts with the battery (-) cable
terminal and tighten them securely.
Install the starter motor cable and terminal nut, and
tighten the nut.
Install the rubber cap over the cable terminal.

Install the right engine cover and tighten the two
bolts.
Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery.
Install the recoil starter cover (page 3-4).
Install the seat (page 3-4).
