FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM (FM/FE models)
Remove the following:
- stopper ring
- inboard joint
INBOARD JOINT
- snap ring
- bearing
- inboard boots
- boot band C
STOPPER RING |
INBOARD BOOT SNAP RING
BEARING
Replace these com-
ponents as an
assembly.
Check the following for wear or damage.
- bearing cage
- race
- steel balls
- inboard joint
INBOARD JOINT
STEEL BALLS
Remove the following:
- shaft boot band
- outboard boot band
- outboard boot
BEARING CAGE BEARING RACE
OUTBOARD BOOT BAND OUTBOARD BOOT
SHAFT BOOT BAND
