STOPPER RING
Check the output shaft bearing.
If the inner race does not turn smoothly, quietly, or
if the outer race fits loosely in the cover, replace the
bearing (page 12-27).
Remove the following:
- TM and FM models: thrust washer (from the
reverse stopper shaft
- stopper shaft (release the stopper plate from the
shift drum with a screwdriver, then pull the shaft)
