Configuring NTP Server and Management VLAN

NTP Server
A Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server should be configured to ensure that the AP
maintains the correct time. The default Ruckus Wireless NTP Server (ntp.ruck-
uswireless.com) can be used if you do not have an NTP server on your network.
If you want the AP to contact a different NTP server, you can do so by going to
Configuration > Internet and entering the host name in NTP Server at the top of
the page.
Management VLAN
CAUTION!
disconnected from the Web interface if the computer you are using is not on the
same VLAN. Do not change the Management VLAN unless your admin PC is on
the same VLAN, or you are disconnected and unable to connect again without
factory resetting the AP.
If you want to place this AP's management traffic into a management VLAN, enter
the VLAN ID in the Management VLAN field and then click Update Settings.

Default IP Addressing Behavior

By default, the AP is configured to automatically obtain an IPv4 address from a
DHCP server on the network. If the AP does not detect a DHCP server, it
automatically assigns itself the static IP address 192.168.0.1 to make it easier
for you to preconfigure and deploy it on your network.
For IPv6, the Auto Configuration setting serves the same purpose as DHCP. The
default static IPv6 address is fc00::1.

Obtaining and Assigning an IP Address

There are three methods of assigning IP addresses to the AP:
