Description
The scanner has been manually
disabled
The scanner has automatically been
disabled by the controller
Scanner cable has been unplugged.
The scanner image ASIC has failed
The ADF controller card has lost
communication with the system.
The scanner carriage home position
detection has failed.
The flatbed scanner exposure lamp
has failed.
Scanner card has failed.
Flatbed fan has failed.
Machine has an installed modem but
ConfigID indicates that it should not.
Machine has an installed hard drive
that should not be present.
Action
Enter the configuration mode to re-enable the
scanner.
Enter the configuration mode to re-enable the
scanner.
Go to "840.03—Scanner cable service check" on
page 2-151.
1. Check all connections on the ADF controller card
assembly.
2. Replace the scanner controller card assembly if
problem remains.
