Removing and installing

•
Remove the seat.
•
Raise the windscreen.
•
Remove left side section of fairing (

Attention:
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect earth (ground) lead from battery.
Insulate earth (ground) lead.
•
Remove fasteners of cover for windscreen ad-
juster push adjuster up.
•
Remove inner trim of fairing.
•
[Radio] Remove left loudspeaker box.
•
[Radio] Slacken right loudspeaker box.
•
Disconnect speedometer shaft.
•
Release instrument cluster (1) and pull it up until
it is clear of the mount.

Disconnect plugs.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.
