Appendix B. Enhancements

Phase 4.5

The following features have been added to the previous software (Version 1.0).
Operating procedures are not included.
Summer Time (Daylight Saving)
The system adjusts Summer Time (Daylight Saving Time) automatically.
1) The system changes the time automatically like as follows;
(1) Winter time to Summer time
The system forwards one hour at AM 2:00 third Sunday in March.
(2) Summer time to Winter time
The system rewinds one hour at AM 2:00 last Sunday in October.
2) Whether to use this feature or not can be programmed.
3) To activate this function, the main power of the system must be turned on during the night.
Paging Enhancement
Page time-out and FF key indication features are added.
1) Paging Time-out
a) Disconnect Timer for unanswered page call (from 0 sec.... to 255 sec.) can be selected by
the system program setting.
b) Page originator hears FTB (Error Tone) at the disconnection.
c)'Paging Time Out' is shown on the page originator's phone at the disconnection.
2) LED indication for paging key
a) Page Originator while during page call ; Solid Green
b) Other Extension while during page call ; Solid Red
Only FF keys assigned to the same paging group are turned to red.
UNA Enhancement
Allow UNA ringing and extension ringing at the same time, when each extension has the corresponded CO/
MCO key appearance on the FF keys.
OHVA for 2nd DN call
Allow OHVA to amctivate while the extension is receiving the 2nd DN or 3rd DN call.
