Rolling BIOS
Rolling BIOS function
This server supports the Rolling BIOS function. With the Rolling BIOS feature, two copies of the BIOS
are stored. These are signated as the primary and secondary BIOS image. If the BIOS fails to boot to
the primary image, the secondary BIOS image is used instead of the primary image. In this case, a
POST error message will be logged to system event. BIOS updates are diverted to the secondary
image.
