Set a Yearly recurring appointment with a reminder of one week (so you have time to buy the
present or send a card).

To Snooze a Ringing Calendar or Task Alarm

When a calendar or task alarm rings, you
can Open it, Dismiss it, or Snooze it.
If you don't see a Snooze option, then you
need to change your Options in your
Calendar from None to some other value.
Click on Snooze to have the alarm ring in
the specified number of minutes.
To make sure you have the Snooze option
active:
1. Open the Calendar Application.
2. Push the Menu key and glide down
to Options.
3. Click on General Options.
4. Look under the Actions sub heading
and set the field next to Snooze to
something other than None.
