Ignoring a call sends the caller to your
voice mail.
The Missed Call will be displayed on your Home screen. Click on the Missed Call with
the trackpad and a small menu pops up that allows you to do various things depending
on whether the phone number is already in your Address Book.

Call any number for a person who is
entered into your address book.
Send an email if the person has an
email address entered.
Send an SMS text message.
Send an MMS multimedia message,
with pictures or songs.
Send a PIN message.
View the contact information.

Muting a Ringing Call

If you'd prefer not to send a call immediately to voice mail and simply let it ring a few
times on the caller's end, but you don't want to hear the ring (perhaps you are in a movie
theatre or a meeting), when the call comes in, press the Mute key on the top of your
BlackBerry. The Mute key has the small speaker icon with the line through it. All this
does is silence the ring.
You can still pick up the call or let the caller go to voice mail.
