CHAPTER 19: Even More Messenging

Your conversation list is in your main screen.

Just highlight the individual with whom you are

conversing and click the trackpad. The

conversation screen opens.

Type in the new message and click the

trackpad to send.

Using the Emoticons (Smiley Faces and More)

To add an emoticon to your

message, click on the emoticon

button next to the text input window

or press the SYM key (next to your

Space key) several times and navigate

to the emoticon you wish to use.

Unless you are in a Messenger conference, you can send a file very easily (At the time of

publishing of this book, you were limited to sending only files that are images, photos, or

sound files (ring tones and music). The sound files are limited to very small file sizes of

15kb---- - about the size of a ring tone). Larger image files, like photos that are 400KB or

larger, can be sent because they are compressed down to less than 15KB.
