1. Glide the trackpad left or right to position the cursor.
2. Edit text using Del or Alt+Del.
a. Use the Del key to erase characters to the left of the cursor.
b. Hold the Alt Key and press Del to delete characters under the
cursor.

The Mighty Space key

Like many of the keys on the BlackBerry, the space key can do some very handy things
for you as you type.
Using the Space Key While Typing an Email Address
On most handhelds, when you want to enter the @ or a period for an email address, you
need a c omplicated series o f c ommands---- - usually a SHIFT or ALT plus another key.
On the BlackBerry, you don't need to take those extra steps. When you're typing the
email address, just press the space key once after the user name (martin, for instance)
and the BlackBerry will automatically insert the @---- - ''martin@''.
