Changing Your Ring Tone

To set a song as a ringtone, follow these steps.
1. Click on the Music icon, it may be in
your Media folder. (Learn more about
getting around the Music app in chapter
21 ''Your Music Player'').
2. Navigate to and click on the song you
want to use as a ring tone to play it.
3. Press the Menu key and select Set as
Ring Tone.
4. The next time you receive a call, your
favorite song will play.
To use a pre-loaded ring tone as your phone
ring tone.
If you want to use a pre-loaded ringtone, then
instead of going to Music in your Media icon,
you would go to the Ring Tones app.
1. Open your Media folder.
2. Click on Ring Tones.
3. Then select All Ring Tones,
My Ringtones, or Preloaded
Ring Tones.
4. Scroll down the list and click
the trackpad to listen to the
selected ring tone.
5. You can also type a few letters
to find a ring tone that
matches the letters you type.
TIP: Type in ''ringer'' to find all the phone
ring tones.
