To set one song (MP3) as your general Ringtone:
1. Navigate to your list of music
2. Find the MP3 file you want to use as the general
phone tune.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click on Set As Ring Tone.
TIP: Set up unique ringtones for each of your important callers so you'll know when each of
these people is calling without looking at your BlackBerry screen.

The last chapter concluded with an overview of Voice Command. This powerful tool not
only enables basic phone calls, it's also great for using other functions of the BlackBerry
without having to push buttons or input text.

Other Commands

You can use the Voice Command software to perform several functions on the
BlackBerry. These are especially useful when you can't look at the screen (while driving)
or are in an area where coverage seems to fade in and out.
The most common voice commands are:
Call Extension calls a specific extension.

Call (person) Home calls the contact at his home number.

Check Battery checks the battery status.

Check Signal l ets y ou k now t he s trength o f y our w ireless s ignal---- -

whether there's no signal or it's low, high , or very high.
Turn Off Voice Prompts turns off the ''Say a command'' voice and

replaces it with a simple beep.
Turn On Voice Prompts turns the friendly voice back on.

