Slacker Controls
Slacker offers a few more controls and
options than Pandora. You can access
the controls via the dock of buttons at
the bottom. The Home button takes you
back to the Slacker Home screen where
you can choose your station.
The Next arrow takes you to the next song in the station lineup. Notice
that Slacker displays a picture of the next song or artist to the right of
the album cover of the current song.
If you like the artist or song, just click the Heart button for Slacker to
remember that.
If you don't want to hear this particular artist or song again, click the
Do Not Play/Ban button.
Slacker Menu Commands and Shortcut Keys
Slacker offers some very cool commands
in the Menu. Just press the Menu button
on your BlackBerry and you can see your
stations, lyrics to the current song, an
artist bio, or an album review. There are
also options to Ban this Artist, Filter
Explicit Content, Enable Bluetooth (see
page 449on A2DP Stereo Bluetooth), and
Share Slacker with friends.
Slacker Shortcuts
N - Skip to Next Song (with free Slacker, you are limited to six skips

per hour)
Space - Play/Pause Song

H - Heart (Says you like the song so play more songs like it.)

B - Ban Song (Says you don't like the song so don't ever play it again.)

