To Access Voice Mailboxes

Press the MESSAGE key.
Select "Voice Messaging".
Enter your extension number (which is your voice mailbox number).
Enter your voice mail password (1111 by default) followed by #.
You are presented with the Voice Messaging Control Menu. The options displayed are "Play", "Erase
All Messages", "Greeting", "Change Password", "Monitor", "Record Name", "Remote Notification"
"Compose a Message" and "Cancel"
Select the display option you require.
Note: "Remote Notification" is presented when the voice mailbox is programmed for it. See page 56.
Note: To access a group Mailbox, enter the group number (180 – 199) as the extension number. To access
a Phantom Mailbox, enter the Phantom Mailbox number (100 – 109) as the extension number.

To Retrieve Messages Left in a Voice Mailbox

If new voice messages have been left in your voice mailbox, the Message Waiting Light, located on the top
right-hand corner of your digital telephone set, will be on. In addition, the top line on your digital
telephone set display will show "New voice messages". The dial tone returned when there are new
messages in your voice mailbox is a broken tone 600ms on 200 ms off 800ms on and 400ms off.
Select "New Voice Messages".
Enter your extension number.
Enter your voice mail password, which is 1111 by default, followed by #.
Select "Play". The new messages are played.
The code to access your voice mailbox from a standard analog phone is
When listening to the greeting dial 1 to play the first message.
When the message is being replayed the following codes can be dialed:-
Dial 0 to return a call to the person who left the message (Caller ID must be available).
Dial 1 for more information.
Dial 2 to go to the next message.
Dial 3 to erase the current message and go to the next message.
Dial 4 to go back to the start of the message.
Dial 5 to go to the previous message.
Dial 6 to save the message.
Dial 7 to go back 10 seconds.
Dial 8 to go forward 10 seconds or skip the time stamp.
Dial 9 to forward the message.
Dial # to pause.

Note: Each message is time stamped to tell you when the message was received. You can skip the time
stamp by dialing 8, which jumps forward ten seconds.
When all new messages are played, you are informed of the total number of messages in your box.

To Forward a Message

A user can forward a message from their voice mailbox to another voice mailbox.
While you are listening to the message select the "Forward Message" option.
Select the extension to forward the message to from the menu on the phone.
To forward a message when using a standard analog phone dial 9 and the extension number.
