The default setting is High -3dB.
Note:
Low is the recommended receive setting as specified in EIA 464C. Medium is the recommended
value in EIA 464B.
LINE PROGRAMMING CHANGES WHEN A T1
MODULE IS EQUIPPED
When a T1 module is equipped the following "Line Programming" options are modified. The change is
dependent on whether the interface is programmed as a T1 or Primary Rate ISDN interface.

EQUIPPED LINES

Equipped Lines programming when Trunk Type T1 is programmed

From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Select "Equipped Lines" option.
Lines 1- 24 are the T1 lines. These are always presented when a T1 module is installed and the Trunk
type is set as T1.
If one CO line module is installed then lines 25 and 26 are shown.
If two CO line modules are installed then lines 25 - 28 are shown.
The lines with a solid diamond are available; those with an open diamond are not equipped.
In default all 24 T1 lines are programmed as equipped.
The line numbers correspond to the T1 channels.
Equipped Lines programming when Trunk Type ISDN is
programmed
The number of ISDN B-channels available is set in the Equipped Line Programming. In this case lines 1-23
are the B-channels and Lines 24-27 are any CO lines installed.
From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Select "Equipped Lines" option.
The menu updates to show lines 1 - 23.
In the case of ISDN PRI there is no direct correlation between the line number and any particular B-
Channel.
This programming option is used to determine the number of B-channels available to the switch.
Select the number of lines corresponding to the number of B channels available.
If a line is programmed as unequipped, busy tone and the message "Not Equipped" is presented on the
display when a key programmed with the line is selected.

If the interface is programmed as Trunk Type T1 then each programmed T1 line is treated as a separate line
and the lines are presented as Line 1 - Line 24. If CO Lines are equipped then they are numbered from Line
25 - 28.
