To Change the Ringing Time before Calls are answered by the Courtesy Greeting
You can change the time that a call will ring before being automatically answered by the Courtesy Service,
as follows:
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "System".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Timers" is displayed.
Select "Timers".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Courtesy Delay" is displayed.
Select "Courtesy Delay".
Enter the time required in seconds (01 - 30).
Press "Confirm".
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
To Record a Customized Courtesy Greeting
When the system is equipped with a voice mail module the courtesy messages are supplied from it. These
messages can be customized.
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "System".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Change Greetings" is displayed.
Select "Change Greetings".
Select "Courtesy Service Day" or "Courtesy Service Night" to record the "Day Service" and "Night
Service" greetings respectively.
Select "Record Greeting".
When prompted, speak and record the new greeting.
When finished recording of the new greeting, press "Confirm".
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
Recording a Temporary Courtesy Service Greeting
A temporary auto-attendant greeting can be recorded and activated remotely. This is intended to allow users
to temporarily change the greeting for auto attendant day and night and courtesy service day and night
Access any mailbox and while listening to the prompt "You have x new messages etc" dial 9 3 1 and
record the temporary greeting. Press # to finish recording and hang up.
This greeting is played to all callers answered by the auto-attendant or the courtesy service
To turn the greeting off and revert to the normal auto attendant and courtesy greetings access any mailbox
and while listening to the prompt "You have x new messages etc" dial 9 3 3. The temporary greeting is
deleted.

DIRECTORY SERVICES

There are two types of Directory Service provided that prompt callers to the Auto Attendant with a list of
names and extension numbers.
The first is the "Simple Directory Service" and the other the "Dial Name Directory service". Only one of
the services can be activated on the system.
