ADDITIONAL CALL FEATURES

Redial

Use the Redial feature to redial the external number you most recently dialed. A line is selected
automatically and the last external number dialed is redialed. It is important to note that this feature redials
external calls only, calls to other extensions are not redialed.
To Redial the Last External Number Dialed

From the Idle Menu, select "Redial Last Number".
To activate the redial feature from a standard analog phone you dial the code 77.
Note: Most standard analog phones have a redial key on the phone. If redial is activated from the key on
the phone then the last number dialed from the phone is redialed. In this case if the last number dialed was
an internal number than the internal number will be redialed.
Saved Number Redial
In addition to the Last external number, the previous five numbers dialed are also stored and can be
redialed.
•
From the Idle Menu, select "Saved Numbers".

Select the number to be dialed.
From a standard analog telephone, the codes are 781 - 785 are dialed for saved numbers 2 - 6. The first
saved number is the Last Number Redial Code 77.
Note: By dialing the code 78 from a digital telephone set, the Scroll Up and Down keys can be used to view
the saved numbers.

Call Pick-Up

You can pick up any call, internal or external, that is ringing at another extension provided both extension
are programmed in the same group. See page 38.
For extension not in your group, you can pick up external calls only.

To Pick up a Call Ringing at Another Extension in Your Group
•
From the Idle Menu, select the "Call Pick-Up" option on the display.
From a standard analog phone, the code is 727.
To Pick up a call when the call is ringing in to a Ring Group.

From a digital telephone set, select the "Flashing Line led".
From a standard analog phone, dial #5 and then the line number (Line numbers starting from 01 to 20).
For example:
To pick up line 2, dial #502
Note: If the Inter-Tel 3000 is in PBX mode, this feature will not work.
To Pick up a call when the call is ringing in to a Hunt Group.
•
From a digital telephone set select the "Flashing Line led".
From a standard analog phone, dial 727 provided that this extension belongs to the same group.
