Making calls without the handset

The Monitoring function (you can hear your call partner over the loudspeaker) and Handsfree
function (your call partner is heard over the loudspeaker and you can speak to him using the
built-in microphone) can be operated using the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key.
Handsfree operation is activated by pressing the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key before
establishing a connection.
If you press the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key during a call, only monitoring is activated.
The handsfree mode can be switched to by pressing the function key again.
You can tell whether "Monitoring" or "Handsfree" is activated by the status of the LED:
• LED on: monitoring (loudspeaker switched on)
• LED flashes: handsfree (loudspeaker and handsfree microphone are on)
• LED off: loudspeaker and handsfree microphone are switched off

Listening to the opposite party via the loudspeaker (monitoring)

During a call with the handset off the hook:
Press the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key (LED on). You are now in monitoring mode
and can hear the opposite party via the loudspeaker. The loudspeaker volume can be set
using the keys
handsfree mode (LED flashes). Pressing the key again deactivates the handsfree microphone
and the loudspeaker (LED off). However you can continue the call over the handset.

Making a call with the handset on the hook (handsfree operation)

Press the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key (LED flashes).
If the desired party answers, you will be able to hear him over the loudspeaker and also speak
