Answering calls

If another telephone receives a call (pick-up call)

Another telephone rings.
... With the handset on the hook, enter the number of the ringing telephone.
Scroll to the Pick-up call menu item.
Confirm your selection and wait until the call is signalled on your telephone.
Pick up the handset.
• You can alsoset up a macro
this telephone rings, you will be able to pick up the call by pressing a single key.
• There is another way of picking up a call, provided your telephone system is set accor-
dingly. All you have to do is enter a code. After picking up the handset, enter, for
example, "*6" for the "Pick-up" function and then dial the number of the ringing phone.
You will then hear a special dial tone for about one second. The call is then directly put
through. Please contact Tenovis Service if you have any questions.

Putting a call on hold

If you receive a call but first want to complete an operating procedure on your telephone:
Scroll to the Put on hold menu item.
Confirm your selection. You can now continue your operating procedure. The ringing tone
is deactivated, the call LED continues to flash. After finishing the operating procedure, the rin-
ging tone sounds again and you can answer the call.
