Setting the acoustics, contrast and language

You can edit various acoustic settings and the contrast of the display to meet your own requi-
rements.
The language for the display texts can be changed at any time. Irrespective of this, you can
also specify the language in which you want the prepared minimail texts to appear. The lan-
guages available are English, German, French and Italian.

Setting the acoustics

Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Display / Acoustics menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Set acoustics menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the desired menu item, e.g. Ringing tone.
Increase or reduce the volume. New ringing settings are sounded immediately in order
to be checked.
Confirm the entry. The new setting is saved.
• You can go directly to the acoustics menu from the initial condition of your telephone
using the keys
• You can also change any setting by pressing the digit key for the desired setting or by
pressing and
• To reset all of the acoustic settings to the default settings, select the "Default settings"
menu item.
