Relocating with the telephone (T3)

If you move to a different location in the same telephone system, you can continue to use your
call number and the corresponding features there.
Preparing to relocate:
Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Safety menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Relocate telephone menu item.
Confirm your selection. The data is now saved locally in the telephone. The status mes-
sage "Relocation prepared" appears.
Starting the relocation:
When your telephone is plugged in at your new location, the status message "Relocation initia-
ted" appears on the idle display. The message "Telephone relocated" then appears and the
"Relocation initiated" status message is deleted.
• If you select the "Relocate telephone" menu item again in the "Safety" menu while the
status "Relocation prepared" is displayed, your relocation request will be cancelled.
• For telephones with an S0 interface, an MSN must be set up by the service technician
before this feature is able to be used. You can obtain detailed information from Tenovis
Service.
