Sending and receiving text messages

You can send short text messages to one or more recipients. A total of 10 texts are available to
you:
• 7 prepared texts, which you can either edit or supplement
• 3 texts which you can enter yourself.
You can also receive text messages. The mailbox is a call list for text messages. Your callers
can leave up to 10 short minimails here. You can see whether you have received a new mini-
mail on the telephone display.

Selecting and sending a prepared text message

Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Messages menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Send minimail menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the desired entry, e.g. Meeting 00:00 00.00.
... Edit the entry, if necessary. Add the date and time for example.
Confirm the entry.
Scroll to a line with no call number, e.g. Recipient 2: (off). This step is not required
when entering a call number for the first time.

... Enter the call number of the desired subscriber, e.g. 7500.
Scroll to the Recipient on menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Send to selected users menu item.
Confirm your selection. You can see on the display whether or not the message has been
successfully sent:

" ": The message has arrived.
"-": The subscriber was not available.
