Assigning functions or call numbers to keys

Saving a destination from the phone book as a DSS direct call destination*

Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Applications menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the DSS direct call menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Set DSS direct call dest. menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Copy phone book entry menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the desired entry, e.g. Tanja 0069132456.
Confirm your selection. The name and call number are displayed and can be edited as
required.
Scroll to the Assign DSS direct dest. menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Press the key on the DSS module to which you want to assign the new destination. You
can now see which function or call number was previously assigned to the key.
Confirm
Save entry.
• If you have set up any DSS direct call destinations, handsfree operation is automatically
activated on your telephone by pressing the direct call key. This is ignored if the called
subscriber has deactivated the second call function. With direct call destinations, the
LED shows whether the subscriber is free (LED off) or busy (LED on).

• All the procedures described in this user manual assume a standard assignment of the
function keys.
• When reprogramming function keys, please bear in mind that this may change the ope-
rating procedures.
