Viewing and changing IP settings (T3 IP only)
You can view various IP(Internet protocol)-specific settings in the "IP settings" menu.
You can also check the accessibility of individual network components ("Sending Ping") and
load or save user data.
Your telephone has been released in order for Tenovis Service or your PBX system admini-
strator to be able to access your telephone and adjust certain settings via a web browser on a
PC. You can block this access.
Furthermore, you can also make settings to allow CTI applications to log onto your telephone.
Viewing IP settings
Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the IP settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Gatekeeper list or Network settings menu item.
Confirm your selection. You can now see various IP settings such as the gatekeeper list
or the IP address of your telephone.
Sending ping
Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the IP settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Sending Ping menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the network component whose accessibility you want to check, e.g.Def. Gat..
Confirm your selection. You then receive an information message on whether the selec-
ted network component was reached.
• Under IP address you can yourself enter an IP address whose accessibility you want
to check.
