Setting up VIP functions*

Setting up the secretary telephone

Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the VIP menu item.
Confirm your selection.
... Enter the current PIN.
Confirm the entry.
Scroll to the Receive VIP functions menu item.
Confirm your selection.
In order to receive VIP messages, set the "Receive VIP functions" menu item to
• "All callers" if you want VIP functions to be possible for all subscribers,
• "Authorized users" if you want VIP functions only to be available to subscribers determi-
ned in the "Set VIP partner" menu.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Set VIP partner menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Entry from phone book or Entry from key assign. or Partner
menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the entry for the executive telephone.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the receive from user menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the on menu item.
Confirm your selection.

Using the VIP functions

Using announcements or the two-way intercom system:
Press the respective destination key for the secretary telephone or select the phone book
entry.
Press the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key or pick up the handset. "Handsfree" is auto-
matically activated on the secretary telephone. The two parties can now speak to one another.
With "Announcement", the loudspeaker is activated on the secretary telephone. You can make
an announcement.
