Assigning functions or call numbers to keys

Displaying the key assignment

You can see on your telephone display which function, destination, partner or line has been
assigned to a key of your telephone or of your DSS module.
Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Keys menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Display key assignment menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Press the desired display key, function key or key at the DSS module. You can now see
which function, destination, partner or line is currently assigned to this key.
• You can quit the menu by pressing the "Esc" key.

Labelling function keys

All function keys are pre-assigned by default with frequently used functions. You can insert the
labelling strips next to the corresponding rows of function keys, . These can be found on the
supplied sheet. If change the assignment of the function keys, you can use the spare label
strips from the sheet (for hand-written entries) or the file on the CD-ROM (for entries using the
PC).

Function keys with LEDs

Your telephone has 9 function keys with LEDs. The LED indicates the current status of the key
function. You can then see whether the corresponding function is, for example, switched on or
off.
