Troubleshooting
Incorrect date and time are displayed
Select the Time/Partner/Line/DSS menu item. The time and date are updated by the
system.
Unknown message on the display
Take a look in the
sectionInformation on the idle display
The number of a caller is not displayed
Call has been transferred without call number, e .g. an analogue call or the caller has switched
off calling line identification presentation.
Partner or line display has disappeared
The partner or line display has been deactivated in the Partner or Multiline menu. You
can switch it on again there.

Select the Time/Partner/Line/DSS menu item. The partner or line display is updated by
the system.
Note: The display is automatically updated when a partner or one of your colleagues uses his/
her telephone.
Short tones during a call
A second call is signalled. Please refer to the section
37]
to find out about possible operating steps.

You have activated monitoring or handsfree operation.
You and the opposite party both hear a short alert tone.
or
Cut-in tone
You are taking part in a cut-in call.
or
Appointment signal
An appointment is signalled.
A function does not work
The function may first have to be enabled by Tenovis Service.
Telephone aborts programming prematurely
Maybe no key has been pressed for about 60 seconds. This always terminates every pro-
gramming procedure. Programming is also terminated by answering a call.
It is not possible to set up a call diversion
Ask your Tenovis Service whether this feature has been activated for your telephone.
A call number dialled with code dialling cannot be extended
Maybe the "Suffix dialling" feature for the code dialling destination has not been enabled in the
telephone system. Ask your Tenovis Service.
A call is shown on the display but your telephone does not ring
Check whether the ringing tone is deactivated (in the Do not disturb menu).
