Placing a Normal Call

Press the station's CALL button to place a normal call from a patient or staff/duty station.
See Figure A-3. When you do, this happens:
The station's CALL LED illuminates to confirm call placement.
•
The white section of the station's associated corridor light illuminates.
•
The call appears at the base master and at the video display (if present).
•
A tone sounds at the base master.
•
A tone sounds at any station where the system monitor function is active (default) or
•
any staff/duty station where staff presence is registered.
The registered staff level and SYSTEM MONITOR LEDs flash at stations where the
•
system monitor is activated.
Notes:
Normal calls placed using a call cord assembly connected to a station produce the same
results.
