Set IP address to channels using PPP over ATM en-
capsulation in bridged mode
Assigns an IP address to the specified logical ATM
channel using PPP over ATM encapsulation in bridged
mode (BNCP option on).
set ip wan {vccx} address [ip_address]
The first argument identifies the ATM channel (vccx,
x = 1 ... 8). If there is only one ATM channel using ppp-
vcmux encapsulation, you can leave the argument
vccx out. The second argument is the IP address for
that channel. If you enter 0.0.0.0 as the network mask
M11 will retrieve the IP address through the remote
peer using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
M11> set ip wan vcc2 address 0.0.0.0
Set broadcast address to channels using PPP over
ATM encapsulation in bridged mode
Assigns a broadcast IP address to the specified logical
ATM channel using PPP over ATM encapsulation in
bridged mode (BNCP option on).
set ip wan {vccx} broadcast [broadcast_address]
The first argument identifies the ATM channel (vccx,
x = 1 ... 8). If there is only one ATM channel using ppp-
vcmux encapsulation, you can leave the argument
vccx out. The second argument is the broadcast ad-
dress for that channel. If you enter 0.0.0.0 as the
broadcast address, M11 will retrieve the IP address
through the remote peer using Dynamic Host Configur-
ation Protocol.
M11> set ip wan vcc2 broadcast 0.0.0.0
