1. Construction of the Vertical Path Unit

2. Removing the Vertical Path Unit
1) Remove the buffer rear upper cover and the
buffer rear lower cover.
2) Open the front covers.
3) Release the buffer assembly.
4) Remove the mounting screw.

5) Remove the mounting screw w and the E-ring
e; then, remove the spring r used to sus-
pend the vertical path unit while lifting the
buffer assembly.
6) Disconnect the three connectors t, and
remove the three mounting screws y; keep
the rear of the harness rail u lifted at the rear.

7) Disconnect the two female connectors i from
the support shaft plate.
8) Remove the two mounting screws o, and
remove the support shaft plate !0 .
